Last night I had the opportunity to share a cup of java with one of our deacons in the church. We were both preparing to eat some wonderful dessert that our teens had made for a ministry outreach, Show Your Heart (outreach to shut-ins). I recalled I had picked up some Italian Roast Starbucks Via in Lafayette when I left after attending the Biblical Counseling Training Conference there. I’m not usually a fan of instant coffee, but Starbucks hit it out of the park with this one! The Italian Roast is extra bold, which I absolutely love. It was ground very fine, mixed very well with some boiling water and was good to the last drop…oh…what, that’s Maxwell House.
