I think a more helpful resource would be a track record showing their votes in bills etc to see how consistent their actions were with their words.

Quotes without context, and it basically looks like the Republican candidates are against it while the Democrats are for it. It’d be nice if there was a track record of how the candidates have voted in previous bills etc. (you know…to see how consistent the words of the politicians were with their actions).

Jesus said that If we have faith and don’t doubt in our heart but believe that what we say is going to happen, it shall be granted us. I’m paraphrasing from Mark 11:22-24.
Understood if it is according to God’s will.
This is where I want to direct my meditation; trying to grasp what Jesus was getting at. It’s easy to read it, pray it and repeat it but to believe without doubt is another issue altogether. I think we cloud our relationship up by not striving for what Jesus is saying here. We read the passage and dismiss it as Jesus just giving us a example that we should trust God and that’s as far as we ever take it.
I somehow thing there’s a bit more to it than that. What do you think?
